| 2009 BAA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BOWFISHING TOURNAMENT Download Flyer Cypress Bend Park on Toledo Bend When: July 11-12, 2009 Tournament Hours: 6pm to 8 am Where: Cypress Bend Park on Toledo Bend near Many, LA BAA World Championship Numbers / Big 20 Tournament Entry fee $200.00 per team Team consists of no more than 3 people with one team per boat only. Teams will be entered in both divisions under one entry fee. Entry fees will be split between both divisions and a Champion crowned in each. Teams may win or place in both divisions. A minimum of 3 places will be paid back in each division. · All BAA tournament rules are to be adhered to and will be strictly enforced. · All team members must be BAA members. Membership available at tournament registration. · There will be a 3 gator gar limit per team. · All shooters will need a freshwater license for either the state of Louisiana or Texas · Catfish will not be counted or weighed in the tournament. · Shad will be counted for this tournament. · Trailering will be allowed at this tournament. · Park entrance fee has been waived for this event but a hangtag for the vehicle will need to be displayed on the vehicles rear view mirror. · Blast off will take place out of Cypress Bend Park. · An optional $25-per team overall big fish pot for the largest fish of the tournament will be collected separately. · Red Zones will be provided at the tournament site. These red zones will target resort / motel / camping areas. A 200 yard buffer zone should be strictly adhered to when fishing around all marinas or campsites. The BAA will have an updated Red Zone sheet available online soon, as well as one to pick up at the tournament. Chips are to be handed out to all teams to determine the starting order by order of registration. All chips are to be turned in at the end of the tournament. Failure to do so, for any reason, will result in disqualification. All teams are required to record vehicle license plate number on the tournament registration. Each vehicle will be marked with a decal upon boat/vehicle inspection to allow tournament directors to identify trailers and license plate numbers at the designated ramps.
